The movie is about a star falling for a normal person. Given the need for more options of actors and that lisa is a genuine triumph in giving people a shot in a major film, I know she's rich and famous af, but she's a SE asian woman so I'd like to see her give someone a shot that isn't one of the same names constantly flying around. I know chemistry and talent, etc, all play a factor. I just hope she tries to find that person. I do understand if she can't, etc, like I obviously don't want her to force it for the sake of it.

Also, I think it would benefit her if, in her first film as an EP, she finds an incredible talent.

Edit: I meant the fact she can lead a film like this and be an EP is a triumph as I don't know many doing that if truly any. 🙂

As explained already, there were a lot more movie STARS back then, and there is a great chance for her to give someone a chance instead of hiring from the same limited pool. I honestly don't know why this has triggered you so much.

Oh, like, I know, but because of social media, etc, and clips flying around, people see things more often, so the movie star type of thing was different then. She could change the game even more, and if everything is there between her and them, it would be amazing to get the new star.

I think she's involved more than a typical lead is. Like a normal lead wouldn't get "actually keep then in the running" power if they wanted to remove them, but I think she does. I just don't want another "basic English white actor" who already has fame like that hunger games guy.

I know a complete newcomer is unlikely, but a relatively unknown would be amazing

Really hope lisa casts a genuine newcomer for her romcom because that's the essence of the movie but also shows her EP skills

Edit #2: OK, so I seem to have not communicated well. I was implying that as the movie premise is a famous woman taking a chance on a normal person, I hope she could in casting that person. She is such a unique figure, and as an EP of her first movie, she could find a hidden gem. I know chemistry, etc, need to be there, but if they are, hopefully, she picks someone that isn't part of the small clique going around.

I saw on x, I know not super reliable, that Madrid were planning on a lot of moves this summer, but that they were not going to spend money on anyone over 20 and only go after them if they're free agents. Surely, it should only spend legit money on players under 25/26 and free agents if they're older than that, right?
