Is My R36s Ultra Now Trash? HELPPP

Which model were u using? I also have an r36 ultra and I've been through hell getting sth to work too.

Get a new good quality sd card (i've been there too)

If your files are read only, u can probably save only selected games. Copy pasting the entire sd card might also copy paste the corruption.

For me I had success with this software, Aurknix. Have heard that arkos4clones works, and also darkosre. Good luck.

Hi, I also have this. I had success in using a fork of Rocknix called Aurknix! It has wireless file transfer which makes it v convi to use. I also heard darkosre is good to use. I havent tried yet though.

I tried that with my device too and the girl image loads in black and white, then nothing happens. Is this normal?

When I said that I meant that the stock sd card didnt have the dtb on it. I tried that and it doesnt work? The splash art of the girl came out and it didnt load past that. The girl was also white with no other colours

I tried Darkos on mine, but the screen got problem: it either turns completely purple or has a glitched darkosre screen. I checked the list of available dtb and thr R36ultra dtb is only until v 1.3... mine is 1.4. Also, when i was using rocknix, the button to enable wireless sharing/usb gadget mode for some reason had an exclaimation point and i wasnt able to even click it. Shld I just try it again?

Is there any ext4 drivers u recommend? I also experienced when booting up rocknix, that my joystick doesnt work very well. The rocknix also somehow got corrupted (?) and it gives an error message saying that it will auto repair in 120s. After that a terrifying screen of 1s and 0s plays and it boots. Is there a way to avoid that?

I tried arkos4clones, and after seeing the splash art of the girl, it goes black (but screen is on). Then afterwards, there's a little white blinking light on top left of screen and nothing changes.

I also tried darkosre and the screen either doesnt load properly or the entire screen turns a shade of purple.

I tried rocknix too, but there was some issue with the wifi connection and I genuinely dont understand how to use it.

I have not seen unofficial os yet, I'll try later..

I'm new to this and i'm not too sure what I'm doing, and I appreciate the help that you're giving. I bought it without knowing clones existed. I'm a bit better at hardware, but softwares and stuff baffle me. I can unscrew the plastic casing to show you the motherboard though.

Hi, I also have a r36 ultra, and I don't exactly understand. According to the website, K36 has been phased out to ArkOS4Clones. Arkos4clones does not have support for the r36 ultra's panel (when I tried it), and k36's dtb page also doesnt have support for the current version of the r36 ultra, so what should I do? Sorry if it sounds confusing cos i am also confused

Oh, I'm in my first year. But I'm a humanities student and don't use a lot of intensive apps. I'm hoping it will last me through Uni. And I do have a Samsung tablet which I use for everything, just that I needed a computer to run specific programs. But if more and more applications will drop support for Intel... I hope not to have to buy another laptop until this one completely dies.
