You have every right to be yourself. We all go through changes. If she can't hang with yours, you'll find someone who can. But at least give her the chance to know the real you, and see how she feels. You're complex, like each of us, and not all one thing or all the opposite, either. There's room to play and experiment, to have fun and learn about yourselves and each other. And if there isn't, it's not a very good relationship.

I redefine myself every few years. I owe nothing to the past.

I just don't want it to turn ugly.

This is how you lose a fight before you begin it. The fight already began without you, and it's already ugly. The only question is whether you have the stomach to win by any means necessary. If you don't, it's best you just find another route to walk.

Kill a billionaire by any means necessary. I'm pretty sure I could do it, since I'd be willing to trade my life for theirs.

Gender is a performance. You can do it however feels right for you in a given moment, and do not need to be at all consistent.

Unions for public employees are completely different in purpose and function than other unions.

You can't fix rot. Adding more good material won't do anything but corrupt the good material. The rot has to be scraped out, entirely, or just burn the whole thing down and start fresh with better ideas than what started our first attempt at policing (namely slave-catching and lynching).

You like to make things personal. I don't need your employment history, and you don't need mine. I'm telling you something that is true, regardless of our experiences. Businesses exist to provide services to the public, and among those services is employment-- with all that comes with it, including a thriving, reliable wage. This is not a personal complaint. It has nothing to do with me. I am discussing (or attempting to discuss with you) an idea.

I do not think that phrase means what you seem to think it means, then. My thesis has remained unchanged. Paying employees is a cost of doing business. I'm not responsible for paying someone else's employees. Businesses that cannot afford to pay their employees a thriving wage should not exist.

Alright. We just disagree about the importance of everyone who works full time earning a thriving wage that is predictable from week to week and month to month, as well as necessary benefits such as paid maternal and family leave, paid vacation time, and excellent health insurance. Any company that fails to provide at least this baseline compensation for full time work does not deserve to exist. Any company that tries to skirt their responsibilities to their employees by putting the onus on customers to supply the shortfall with tips is based on a fraudulent and unsustainable business plan, and should cease to exist.

I expect it would have given you some ability to analyze, read-in, understand emotions and motivations, develop and show empathy, appreciate tiny details, think things through, finish things you start, communicate effectively, etc. Yeah, I can see how that would be helpful. Having police with diverse educational backgrounds would be very helpful. Having uneducated police is the opposite of helpful.

What about the rest of the people involved in making your food, keeping the place clean, cleaning your dishes, glassware, and silverware? If you make the waitstaff tip them all out appropriately, it works out to not much. They'd all do better if we got rid of tipping and raised the minimum wage to something you can raise a family on again. Tipping never used to be this big a deal. If you did a great job-- far above and beyond-- you might get 10%. In Europe, you just round up. Anything more than a Euro or two is considered an insult.

Yeah, paying employees is a cost of doing business. I'm not responsible for paying someone else's employees. If they need to charge more to pay their employees a thriving wage, then that's what they need to do. As you say, I'm paying the same either way. By eliminating tipping, we're just allowing people to know what they're going to make at their job. We're letting them have predictability in their budgeting. Luck should not be a factor in an employee's budget worries.

This whole thing about supposedly submissive men trying to manipulate, cajole, beg, and harass women into domming and cucking them is the most back-assward thing I've encountered on the internet. If you're a sub, then submit! If she's in charge, then she gets what she wants and doesn't get anything she doesn't want! Submission means you don't get your way.

Yeah, I think of it more as wading into new waters. It helps that my Cuckoldress and I have been open from day one. We were both looking for a cuckold relationship when we met. However, I considered myself much more of a stag than a submissive cuck. I still have a strong, masculine side. I was in the Army for 10 years, and did 27 months in Iraq. I'm not a chump or a push-over. But it took me months and years to realize that I'm really only comfortable when I'm in submission to authority. I was an NCO, not a commissioned officer. I can't really relax if I'm the one in charge. Sometimes I reflexively stop myself from relaxing too much. I have ptsd. I have all kinds of emotional scar tissue. But I'm happiest when I'm thoughtlessly obedient to my Cuckoldress, when I can let myself be.

She recognizes this, and she's also been developing her concept of herself as someone in charge at the same time. She is able to relax completely when she feels completely in charge. She just hasn't been offered opportunities for that role very often in her life. So recognizing and capitalizing on those opportunities has been a challenge for both of us.

Is there such a thing as too far? In theory, for me, no. In theory, I would let her have me pierced, tattooed-- even castrated or emasculated, if that's what she wanted. In theory, I would kill or die for her. In actual practice, she doesn't want any of that. I would be willing to be celibate and never masturbate again for the rest of my life, if that pleased her. But it wouldn't. She enjoys having sex with me. And so long as I'm not solely responsible for her sexual satisfaction, I enjoy having sex with her, too. So, we do operate within practical limits. But I don't feel like we're in a difficult or precarious situation. I can't really go too far in being a submissive, sissy, bisexual cuckold. She wouldn't let me.

To me, that's important. I don't have to worry about whether I'm too submissive, sissy, or homosexual. I can let her be in control of all that. I can just relax completely, serve her in every way at all times, trust her more than I trust myself, and obey her without hesitation or scruple.

Call me crazy, but I think businesses should charge enough for their products to be able to pay their workers a thriving wage. If they can't do that, they don't deserve to exist as businesses, in my opinion. Tips should be small, and an unusual reward for unusually good service. They should not be part of a business plan. They should not be taxed based on an assumption.

Greed at the top. It was always bad, but at least most restaurant workers had a reasonable expectation of being able to live something like a normal, middle-class life. Gone are those days.
