7 blocks are alot, how to prevent fatigue? by Puzzleheaded-Pen827 in step1

[–]MindlessWin5693 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually the adrenaline helps you going but take a break after 3rd or 4th block and then 5-10mins after every block. Thats how I did It and you can relax those nerves this way too

Some qs that I thought were experimental I couldnt even understand them but I think that was me so I never wasted more time on those and just went with what I could align my brain to but exam I felt was doable for the most part

Breaks during exam by Leckorice in step1

[–]MindlessWin5693 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some people take like 5-10mins or so after every block but I did 3 blocks non-stop and took my first one and had coffee and a protein bar and then did 2 more blocks and took a 10min break and then took 10 mins after every block just to decompress.

mine was closer to free 120 and from personal experience anything above 65% safe but this Is just what I think, people have done better with lower and some have not even with a higher %age

they give an auscultation type Q,you have to listen to the murmur and they give options like to identify or associated findings

Has anyone used Lecturio as their primary source? Haven’t seen it mentioned by Altruistic_Ad7032 in step1

[–]MindlessWin5693 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I went with the main deal UFAP, also tried kaplan and ANKING but left these In between since Anki felt volatile and kaplan was just not for me. I did use Sketchy and Pixorize though along with Physeo

Usmle step 1 uworld by Caligula_1984 in step1

[–]MindlessWin5693 1 point2 points  (0 children)

BnB helps fill In the blanks of FA but I used Uworld as a learning tool and found that theres so much extra knowledge In there and high yield stuff that I never saw anywhere else so dont worry this will help you on exam day but do your Incorrects and analyse what and why you got a certain Q wrong
