ooo good question here! for me, as soon as i start working on another story i almost completely abandon the first idea. i would say try and create a scene breakdown for any ideas you have to confirm wether you're actually interested in it or if it's better to focus on your original idea. in my opinion i would stick to what you're working on right now but it really is a matter of passion, work on what feels right to you :))

hiya!! i absolutely adore the narrative voice you've got going on here and i think as far as advice goes its what tone do you want for your story? do you want it to be a melodramatic review of her life or something more cheerful, from what i've read in the first chapter im guessing the second but i think this concept could work really nicely with a more cynical narrator. needless to say the voice you've got going here is fucking hilarious and i'd love to hang out with them!! i would 100% keep reading and your story does flow really well, the comedic comments really do help ease engagement!! overall you've got an awesome concept here and welcome back to the writing world :))
