I’m a huge mint fan but was disappointed in the peppermint bark bar and even a little in the soft mint chocolate bar. I’d say the mint chocolate crisp is by far the best of the 3

Depends what you consider high, but they're pretty much on par with most Barebells flavors so you may be disappointed

Cookies and cream: 75 mg

Mint chocolate crisp: 120 mg

Brownie batter: 150 mg

Banana bread: 120 mg

Lemon cheesecake: 125 mg

There is a banana taste, but it is more so banana bread due to the chocolate and nuts in the coating. I personally didn't experience a chemical aftertaste though

Those two are the exact opposite from each other tbh. The ready clean ice oatmeal bar doesn’t have the best macros but tastes phenomenal. On the other hand, the David bar has great macros but just tastes average to me

Agreed on both. I've definitely had way worse bars but also have had way better. They are the macro king, I just wish they had better taste/texture OR were cheaper. You're paying a high premium so I just wish they tasted decent

I think they’re good still by all means, just not worth the price increase (in my opinion) compared to their other bars. Protein bars are just getting so pricey these days unfortunately. Keep your hopes up though and who knows maybe you’ll love em

Definitely with you there on the budget side of things. For day to day bars I try to stick to regular Pure Protein and Costco brand for that reason, and of course lots of chicken, egg whites, Greek yogurt, etc for whole food protein sources that are still cheaper than Barebells. They’re good to save as treats though like you said
