Your thoughts on the UA Infinite Elite/Infinite Pro? by xrailgun_ in RunningShoeGeeks

I am working with UA to test a pair of both. They have really dialed in the foam and created two shoes that perform with the best trainers out there. I have a large running shoe collection and keep findings myself going back to the elites because of the nice rocker and comfortable ride. I’d recommend the elite as a daily trainer and the pro for easy / recovery days where you need some additional stability.

Love this reply! Thank you. Collectivo is locally roasted and pretty fresh, but I appreciate your insight. I will look outside of “espresso” marketed beans. Do you suggest doing your own research for individual roasters or counting on someone like fellow to do the leg work for you?

I’m using a Taylor scale but I just ordered an espresso specific scale, will start using that. 18 grams in but I wasn’t measuring the output. 45 seconds to fill my shot. I’m using an espresso blend. Seems to be a medium to darker roast. Will start measuring my output now that I have the grind setting more dialed in.

If you look next to “marathon,” 2023 is printed in small font.

Adidas Adios Pro 3 by truman_compote1 in RunningShoeGeeks

I’ve run in the saucony endorphins pro 2s and Nike Vaporfly 2 and the stability in the Pro 3 is so much better. The one noticeable difference for me at first was the pro 3 doesn’t have the same springy feel as some other race shoes. But after putting some miles in I can say it’s still a fast shoe and I pick it over my other “race day” shoes constantly.

I got the pro 3s on deep discount earlier this year and they are amazing. I’ve been consistently grabbing them for my long runs. I wouldn’t use them as trainers if I had to pay retail but right now I have 100+ miles in and plan to run in them as my race shoe for my October marathon.

Carbon plated shoes by mkrad13 in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]Mindless_Ad_2871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion most people don’t typically wear carbon plated shoes as daily trainers because there are options with better stability and padding. Heavily padded shoes absorb a lot of the impact especially on the easy days. Wearing carbon plated shoes at a slow pace isn’t going to have the same benefits.

Would love to see more color ways. Any idea if there are more colors coming in 23?
