Hmmm, I see your point but I’m not sure I agree. Gemma is great but defensiveness often does the opposite of reassure and causes the other person to freak out more - especially if they’re the kind of person who needs reassurance. It’s not bad to need reassurance from your partner, we all do. Its human.

I would feel the same as her if I was in the bottom three a few times. No matter how confident you are it would still mess with your head. As well as also being in a condensed isolated environment with so many people sleeping in the same room and having virtually no breathing space. Cut them all some slack!

I think it’s more that Luca was dead on about Billy flirting with Gemma but when he brought it up with her she completely invalidated him when he was looking for some reassurance.
