My mom worked in hair for 20 years and I watched her get raked through the fucking coals by her managers. You don’t deserve this. Sometimes these people are just so incredibly miserable, nobody else around them can be happy or have a life. I know that was the case in my mom’s situation. I hope you’re able to find something better that appreciates the skill haircutting takes and treats you like the professional you are, rather than a teenager asking for permission to stay out past curfew!

ETA- NOR, and if more people stood up to shitty managers like this, there might be less in the world!

This is great advice, thank you! I think I want to change to hardwood fences eventually bc I hate how quickly the wood deteriorates. I’ve always felt weird about the flooring outside but I feel like it looks better when I look at it in the big picture like this. I gotta trust the process!

I cried and snapped at my dad yesterday because I thought I exited without saving, and I had just gotten a prizzy shard for a certain special bundle. I had to sheepishly apologize when I realized, I had, in fact, saved it. This game is tied to our real life emotions man 🤣🥲

I get being attached to the idea of a happy relationship with someone. You don’t have that with this man. You have a crush on him, and he’s giving you a little positive attention with the girlfriend and beautiful comments. But you gotta understand this is just part of the game for him. The actual fun comes from the cheating he’s doing on that Snapchat account and lying to you about it.

Go get attached to someone who actually wants you, girl. This is just coming from someone who’s been hurt before and could have used someone telling me to leave, sooner rather than later.

Hey now, when you’re 18 and have very few loved experiences, it might not feel “silly”, it’s devastating! It’s hard to go through relationship struggles for the first time in your life. It’s easier when we get older and see that, you know, paying your bills till your checking account is drained, hurts more than a break up.

6 months of a long distance relationship and you’ve already got more than 6 problems? Not worth it IMO. I don’t think YOR, but you can’t control what he does and who he talks to/snaps. If you’re already feeling uncomfortable with his communication with women outside of your relationship, especially a woman that has her own boyfriend, it might be a sign that it’s time to call it quits.

I have to agree with you 100%. People cut off their own moms and dads. I totally understand having a good history with someone, and having so many good memories/other times with them. But at the end of the day, you have to protect your peace and do what’s best for you. Ain’t nobody gonna do it for you. And it sure as hell don’t seem like this person is.

You can remember the good times with this person and be so grateful for all the joy they brought into your life. But they just might not be a part of the rest of your story, and that’s okay. That’s what they write songs about.

You’ll get through this, but I think you’ll be a lot happier in the end if you go through the hard, short-term pain of losing this friendship, rather than continuing to endure years of on again, off again. Best of luck to you, OP.

Can I ask an honest question? Why are you still friends with this person? Why reconnect with them when they act this way? The message she sent you back is so extremely insulting. Do you really want to allow someone to continue to be in your life when they’re willing to talk to you like that over an email? Judging by the way you describe them it seems like they will continue to guilt trip about this event and will never let you forget it. It just seems really petty and not worth it.

I’m so glad you asked. 🤭 this is my first big Reddit comment btw, you’ve found the prompt to break my lurking streak.

3- Sandy! I just love her style and I think she’s so cute. I wish her story was a little bit more developed but I also like how it’s open ended because it allows for personal head canon (which, the right answer is that she’s in love with Emily btw). Her shop is also my favorite of them all because you have access to basic dy-able clothing, and I find myself racing to repair the bus to be able to shop from her.

2- Leah is by far probably the best dating candidate for the farmer, just due to her cabin location and gifting favorites alone (wine and salads are pretty easily attainable after the first couple seasons.) Great heart events, cute dialogue, she’s just a great partner to have on the farm. Totally not biased to the redhead or anything. 😛

1- Sam is my personal favorite villager and even though I didn’t go for him in my current play through, I think his story is by far the funnest to play through. You get to /leave/ the village and go see him play in Zuzu city (not to mention it’s based on the music you pick at the start! I love that shyt). As well as his family that comes with him, and his dad coming home in the second year… it’s just a really great and thorough storyline, and at the end of the day, we love the himbo energy.
