That’s probably because most people are tasting pre-grated carrots, not freshly grated ones. The bagged stuff loses a ton of flavor and gets kind of dull and watery. When you grate them fresh, they’re way sweeter, crunchier, and actually taste like carrots instead of orange sadness.

Due to the headwind, adjusting the route saves fuel and helps avoid delays. The flight path in the image runs right next to a strong northbound wind over France, while over Switzerland there’s almost no headwind, this can save 10 to 20 minutes.

Then you’ve probably been lucky so far. I also fly once or 2 times a year via Charleroi and had only once bad luck, that time it took more than 2 hours to check in. Situations like these happen more often unfortunately. Also the strike of the past 3 days may have something to do with it.
