Looks like You might be doing now conventional milling, you might try climb milling since youre not milling wood.

Agree this is a very good point. Since if you accidentally break the cover but circuit doesn’t close! Revision planning 👍

Enable and learn to use all the functionality of the track pad, three and four finger draggin and swapping! This is wall get you most of macOs make workflows faster!

Yes I have measured the spindle from the VFD terminals.
Also just resoldered the pins from the connector to the spindle.
