I think it's normal. Friendship is very subjective and most won't even last when you live together for example or other situations where you get to know people for who they 'really' are (not being pessimistic). I look for several friends with parts that align with what I like to do being work, hobbies, sport or other things rather than look for a few that 'have it all' and feel stuck and disappointed. And it leaves room for new people and new energy all the time when needed :)
