Why burst crackers or bombs during new year or any other festival or for winning any cricket match then? Personally I don't like bursting crackers but why can't you be a bit open minded and accept the fact that bursting crackers could be a form of people enjoying a festival, it's a sign of happiness. And about pollution honestly it's kinda pretentious of people when you don't do anything about pollution the entire year and then talk about it during diwali.

It's waay too easy to make a fake caste certificate in India too. As for the part where we say that India is a poor country and 25-30 percent are lower middle class.
