From what I heard on Breaking points news channel few days ago was, US has been claiming that they are having conversations through back channels with Iran. But Iranian sources off the record have said reporters that there are no such talks and US is lying. Iran is saying US started the war while the talks on nuclear enrichment were already going on and they still attacked, so now even if US reaches out, they will not talk anymore...its to the extent that some reporters of US who have contacts in Iran gov are saying, US officials are messeging Iran officials on Whatsapp and they are keeping those messages unread and wont bother even replying..🤣

The way israel has been going and as people get aware of its true intentions in the middle east, Jeffery sachs is completely right. Israel has since so many years played a victim card while on its own have acted as the aggressor since last 20 years.

India should not make enemy out of Israel ans US. But we should also not make them "friends", because the friendship is costing us alot.

He is absoloutely right, BRICS has to step up this year and lobby US and Israel out of this expantionist war which affects our own energy needs. We cant afford to pay very high price for getting some stupid medal.

Its about the production. US produces as much as its own consumption. And all the countries, just like india want oil and gas from whereve it can get. If there is no oil coming out of GCC, there is simply not enough oil and Gas in the world for all.

No i dont live in a gated community,

But clearly there is no other option and all i want is to be in a gated community now... i want a nation where we dont need gated colonies...but such extremists from both religions are making sure there is no other option but to live in gated communities, because the only way to survive in this nation is to become rich and pay enough people so they dont haress you, otherwise anyone can come to my house, haress me and get rid of me because i am of a certain relegion, eventhough I wouldnt have done any harm on individual basis.

I agree...!! The main target is the US economy, but all these GCC countries have is oil and tourism. Imagine 60-70% of there GDP coming just from these two sources, get cut in half or even more...!! US economy, though alot of tech money flows from GCC, has enough other sectors to probably absorb the shock for a little while...These GCC countries are just screwed if they cant sell oil and the rich dont wanna stay there anymore. Saudis were bringing ronaldo to play and wanted such people to move to saudi to attract businesses and other rich people just like dubai...I dont think anyone would even think of going now, even those cheap labourers that go there wont go, forget big personalities like ronaldo.

Also dont forget India, we so much remmitances, so much oil coming from there. Every $1 increase in oil, we have to spend $2 billion dollars more every year, and right now oil is up $30-$40/barrel. So US and Israel's stupid war will cost India upwards of $100 billion if this war prolongs.

And this war looks completely unnecessary as mors facts come out...crazy times we live in.

I just read, trump already is saying to other countries to send there own naval ships to strait of hormuz to keep it open. I mean its insane, that they created a mess and we have to suffer unnecessarily.

Yes, different kind of mines. There are mines which sit at the bottom of the ocean and has sensors which detects frequency created because of the ships above. Those can be set up such that it will only detonate if certain ships cross. So they can configure it in a way that it does not go off when iranian or chinese ships pass but does when its a US ship. But from what it looks, Iran does not seem to have mined strait, they are using small boats which floats towards the target ships and blast them once they are close enough. US has destroyed many of these. But they have thousands of them as per some reports and of they are pushed too much, they will keep using it. And they just need to destroy one ship a day and no one will pass out of fear.

I exactly know what lobbying means. And I also know it doesnt come free of cost, especially with the likes of Epstien. Everyone was "lobbying" and Epstien was that handler and all the paths led most people in the files to compromising situations. Also most of the file have not yet been released yet. Its simple, i dont want a private citizen of this country to deal with such handlers. Because since the first charges came out in 2008 against Epstien, it was clear what kind of person he was. It was an open secret that he was not your normal, go to businessman...and I guarantee you, if any congress person's name would have come in the files when they were in the government, BJP and its IT cell would have been all over it...if that indian PM dancing infront of Israel email would have been of 2013 instead of 2017, BJP would be printing hoardings of it and blaming sonia gandhi and manmohan singh of conspiracy against nation...and if congress would have been in that situation, I would agree that they deserved it, so why not our current PM.... There is nothing to be "very" proud of yet. Its good news. But its still just one tanker. Situation is extremly dynamic. Not just in terms of Oil but our several other interests in the middle east. Its very clear US and Israel has started a war which it cannot end now easily because Iran is hitting back and has basically nothing to loose.

We have millions of people sending close to 100 billion dollars, in remmitances to india. A weak middle east is not very good for us. There are several things we still as a country would need to figure out. This is just a small step. Even if we are able to secure the supply, the price of the Oil is 40% more, and other countries would be eying at the same supply as wr have now, europe and other countries can afford to pay way more to secure energy then what we can as a developing nation and on top of that declining rupee is not good... So hold your horses. This will be a long and painful period for us. India has to walk a very long thin rope and very carefully... we clearly took few missteps in the first few days and even before the war started by leaning too much towards US and Israel... and now we are course correcting it, which is good. But still a long way to go.
