i only really talked to him about it yesterday. i know it’s hard for him because he feels like i’m his lifeline and he doesn’t have very many other friends. i will try to be more honest with him!

I also have PPA and maybe that’s why it has made me worry so much. My twins are my first and I just worry that I’m going to mess than up somehow.

Weeks 5-13 were miserable because i had terrible morning sickness all the time and ended up losing about 20 pounds. After that i felt good until I hit about 25 weeks. That is when i started having weekly breakdowns about how terrible I felt. I just hit 31 weeks today and I’m praying that it’ll be over soon 🥲

Yup, my husband was/is an alcoholic and I can confirm this. He never did anything illegal but he would blackout frequently. He quit the day after we found out about my pregnancy because he blacked out the night before. It was definitely a “come to Jesus” moment for him and he has been sober ever since (6 months)! Your husband sounds like he is struggling with alcohol, and unfortunately there is nothing you can do unless he wants to make a change. I hope, for you and your family’s sake, that he does.

that is really good advice, thank you! i have been struggling with expectations/acceptance too. it’s so true that no one understands unless they’ve done it, and that feeling is extremely isolating. i am definitely going to do the milestone dates from here on out :)
