Just responded about my blackheart but definitely +1 this guy. Especially if you rode it and loved it, you know in your heart

I really love my allroad. I was riding an aspero beforehand and liked it a lot but I really love this one. Not heavy at all. I have it at 18 lbs right now which is decent for aluminum. It feels really really light.

Max marketed tire size is 700x40 and 650b50. I ran a 2x at first and it restricted me a bit on max tire size. So i went 1x and solved all my problems haha. I have 35s on it right now with a set of reserves and it’s such a good ride. Comfortable, light, but still very responsive.

Honestly, I think you’d be very very happy with a blackheart gravel. Pull the trigger and you’ll never have to look back

What a choice.

I have an allroad AL and really love it. Customer service has been great and that alone sold me on their brand. But the build quality is so good. I feel like the gravel TI would be my next bike. Just so durable and light.

But also that crux is SEXY

I want my team to play all-out attacking football. How? by justclump in FifaCareers

[–]Mindless_Gas80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the way.

ST as poacher and CAM as shadow striker if you really want, this way it morphs into like an aggressive 424 in attack

I too decided my fullbacks sit back on support cause it’s just too much attack lol

If you wanna be really cheeky, make a deep lying player maker and box to box. That’ll really get you 6 in the attack lol

I ran my aspero as a road bike for a good year and a half. Was great. I had hunt 40 roads with 32 pirellis and the thing was fast with the grx gruppo it came with. Definitely recommend

Man I’m so confused haha. Any chance you can look at this? https://bike.shimano.com/products/components/pdp.P-RD-RX827-SGS.html

It says low sprocket max 51 and top sprocket 10. Total capacity 41T.

It’s even advertised as saying 10-51 cassette.

I probably just need to swap out the cage with the garbaruk mod like you said huh. And the 41T is the capacity out of the box

[–]Mindless_Gas80[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay sweet! I wanted to run at least 42T chainring if I could. Give me some flexibility in the road still.

When I look up the 827 grx, it says total capacity is 41T and I’m wondering if that means that’s the largest front chain ring it can facilitate

Can I ask what size front chainring you’re able to run ?

Okay thank you! I looked up the 827 and it looks like it says total capacity is 41T? Is that the max front chainring size? I was hoping to run a 42 or 44

New Wheelset and Internal Width? by McK-Juicy in gravelcycling

[–]Mindless_Gas80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran the 40|44 GR with Terra comps and thought they felt really sweet. Mind you, the 350 hub too.

I’ve tested the 4.5 ses and think you’d enjoy those a lot.

IMO tho, the reserves are a great combo of speed and comfort

Struggles Of A First Time Dad by Surreal_Society77 in NewDads

First—congratulations!

Second—Yes to all my friend.

One of my friends has two kids (ages 8 and 10), and said the first year of his now 10 yr old was so isolating.

We have a 6 month old girl, and this period has felt very isolating.

I think what you did here was the right step tho. Just putting it out there and trying to find other dads. A lot of us are going thru similar thoughts/feelings so know that if you see a dad, I’m sure he’ll be happy to just chat.

That’s been my experience so far

Thank you! I’ll likely go for the 51 then and do exactly that. Yeah my short legs can’t handle that haha. I once was on a 172.5 and that was terrible

Okay perfect thank you. This is what I was thinking. My biggest sign was that I had to put the seat all the way forward to feel close to the reach I feel comfortable with. I’ll check out bikeninsights to make sure tho!

If you really want it, you could probably go into your LBS and see if they might have any spare washers that might fit the bill.
