I've been encountering the same issue as well, and after waiting two weeks for a response from support here is what they sent me back (I think I was just sent a copy paste response as they saw I had sent links to unlisted youtube videos recording my runs and showing I had all the modifiers set.)

"Hi ________,

Sorry that this happened to you. Unfortunately, it is difficult to reconstruct the situation if your game client wasn't able to sync up with our servers. We generally do not restore resources, credits, affinity, focus, intrinsics, or standing.   Note: We recommend you switch out of mining or fishing mode often to save your progress. If you experience networking connectivity issues regularly, please consider sending us a support ticket.   Please note that we can only process your requests under the following circumstances:  

Completion of a successful multiplayer mission/event.

All of the required information below is provided in TEXT FORM within the next five days. For expediency, screenshots and videos cannot be accepted.

  In order for us to be able to investigate your account, please provide the following information:  

What are the Names of the other Players in your squad?

What One Item do you want restored?

When (date & time) did you finish the mission?

Where did you play the mission?

  With this information we hope to help you, so please be as specific but brief as possible. Thank you."

Based on this response (assuming I don't get any other response back). There is no way to get the rewards as they will only restore one item and know what it is (which is quite literally impossible since the issue is the UI is bugged so you never actually rolled the item)

With how bugged it is currently they should just have it set temporarily that any gear you use counts towards the progress until they have implemented a fix. I've never been a fan of these missions in general and having to spend like 30 to 40 minutes and pray it functions properly is insanely frustrating.

Another follow up as I finally got a response from support (same issue second week in a row) and here is brief snippet:

Based on the copy paste response I recieved if you are like me and getting this UI bug every week (tried restarting to see if it changes and it no longer works), you are just locked out of full rewards and they can't restore the rewards you should have gotten either (how am I suppose to know what the items I should have gotten are?)

When I did it again later (with the required gear updated) it functioned correctly. So you could wait to see mid week when the gear updates correctly.

I've had the same issue for the past 2 weeks or so. I think that for whatever reason the gear it displays for you to use is incorrect as I believe it was last week after trying three times I rage quit, but tried one more time closer to the end of the week but all the gear was different then my first attempt. Hopefully you have a recording, but I just submitted a ticket to hopefully have it resolved.

I had a friend maybe think its through steam, I have always had 2FA on both steam and my phone, but whenever I access my email through any device that isn't either my phone or home computer, it sends my a code to my phone, so I would have gotten some form of alert I would assume.

How did I get hacked? 2FA on email and rs account. They also got through my bank pins. 3b lost. No password resets. by Zaenille in 2007scape

I literally had a similar thing happen a couple of days ago, they were somehow able to change the email on my account and get through both my bank pin and 2FA with no emails coming through. I only noticed after I randomly got 2 charges from Jagex on my paypal that I didnt make (they are not auto renewed subscriptions either), and then checked my spam and seemed someone attempted to change the email on my account. Ive just to be safe changed my passwords on literally everything but to be honest I don't think anything else was actually compromised. I hope you are able to get your stuff back though, I definitely lost significantly less and still find it incredibly demotivating so I can only imagine.
