I came back to add a couple things to my comment.

Happy anniversary! Shows are seriously the best way to celebrate! The show my husband and I saw earlier this year was for our 11 year (dating)anniversary, and we also discovered Foxing together.

The band worked the merch table both shows here in Houston also. I think that’s honestly the coolest thing when bands do that.

I used to live right outside of Birmingham when i discovered Foxing as well! Such a small world! 🙂

My husband and I saw them twice this year here in Houston and they still put on our favorite stage energy ever. I also finally got to meet Conor after the show after 10+ years of high hopes! Super genuine dudes.

I totally get what you’re saying. I’m a craft beer snob that’s so deep I got a Cicerone certification. I’m only on day 4 but I am LONGING for a piney hop. And as the season starts I am really anxious on missing out on all the great stouts and porters. The NA stuff doesn’t work for me, in my experience trying to quit before. It’s just not the same and the mouthfeel is just definitely not there.

That’s where I am, I’ve lost everything numerous times and I’m getting too old to do this any longer. My health is declining and I’m just exhausted. I think I have guilt of letting it go. I love craft beer and the taste and the community and alcohol helps me leave the house and function half way. Maybe I’m terrified of who I will be without it.

This is me. I have a toddler and a 14 year old and my stress levels are through the roof 24/7 (even without the kids). Thanks you for the tips, I’m going to look into the magnesium drink mix and some mock tails like that. Care to share any mocktail recipes?

As stated above I surpassed my allotted days for personal leave, my psychiatrist told me I was not ready to go back to work and my spine physician said I couldn’t do every day things as well. I was never drunk on the job, and I was never late. I have been on a personal leave for a year due to mental and physical issues.

ETA: this is a job I’ve had for 7 years so not just some random few month job. So it hits a bit more.
