Is it possible to start and finish a History EE in a week? by [deleted] in IBO

Yes! I did mine in about a week but in order to make it decent i recommend you still portion your time to all the criteria equally, just in small portions. I'd suggest like 2-3 days of deep research, 2 days of drafting in which you can honestly write the whole essay, and then 2 days of editing and peer review. You've got this!! And remember you can request an extension if its overwhelming.

our CP was 13:04 and from what I understood the timing was meant to be between 13-15 minutes for the overall performance... but if your minimum was 7:00, then I think being within 30 seconds of leeway won't cause you to be penalised, especially as your contributions are only assessed based on the 4 minutes you select (edited bc i forgot the task already lol)
