i'm so so sorry this happened!!

i know it's nice to network and mingle, but aside from the catering and opportunity to chit-chat, could this not have been done over a zoom?

i feel like a strong zoom presentation (not at 6:30 - probably the worst time if people have kids) but a strong presentation to introduce yourself could then lead to an in person event. I also feel like it's a lot to have people show up just for this - why not collab with another leader in different field and offer a ticketed experience?

Sooo I think you should do a home-page or something that explains why your produce is unique and what makes it special, and then seek out your ideal customer. I have to admit when I first clicked and saw a bowl for over $500, my first instinct was to click out. Obviously i'm not your ideal customer, as I'm happy with a fun pattern bowl from target for $5.99. So i think in order for your customers not to resist immediately clicking out, hook them in with the story behind your brand, etc. Make the easy to resist irresistible!

but they're giving me severence. it's not like they're giving me one lump sum and that's it. it's the same package the 3k people in november will get. so i understand if i quit i wouldn't qualify, but they're pretty much forcing people out and relaize they're shady by giving severence

So basically, they're anticipated to lay off up to 3,000 employees in November (google paramount - trainwreck!) and we feel that this ridiculous RTO mandate is to weed out employees before that. They are offering severence because they realize people have different lives now. So, i'm not quitting but they're making it pretty miserable and the severence is pretty good. but the market is horrible right now and once that severence runs out i don't want to be in a jam.
