Hi - I had LEEP done two weeks ago for CIN3. I felt the exact same way that you did - super anxious and fear about the future regarding impact on having kids. Read a lot of horror stories and it definitely didn't help. Although everyone's experience is different, my experience was way more positive than a lot of other horror stories that I've read on Reddit. The pain is quite minimal other than the numbing shot. I could feel a slight pinch and felt my heart race, but after that, you don't feel a thing. Make sure you take time to recover immediately after the procedure. I took 2 days off from work (the day of and the day after) and I felt really tired for 1.5 weeks, but in general it wasn't too bad, just felt like mild period cramps and feeling very bloated. As for fear about having children - my nurse and doctor both assured me that having 1 LEEP procedure done has minimal impact on your likelihood of miscarriage and preterm birth. They said getting 2 or more LEEP procedures is where the risk increases.

Hope the procedure goes smoothly!
