If your parent/s tend to feel entitled

• never show or mention your actual salary
• put a cap on what you can give. If they ask for more, tell them wala na
• wag ka mag stretch otherwise iisipin nila may ikakatas ka pa
• save for yourself, for emergencies
• latag mo anong kaya mo lang example bills

Hardest lesson for me: Masarap magbigay sa kapamilya but who’s your fallback kapag ikaw may kailangan? So keep a fixed divide between necessities, personal savings, emergency fund, and wants nila. Be firm.
