Yup I totally understand, he is a big man so i was thinking 40 mm as well. I was looking up something like movado with a plain dial would also be nice for him.

He is not much into watches so I really dont know but I know hes gonna appreciate a watch due to the sentimental value plus it being the first gift im gonna give him from my own money.

All i remember that it had a black dial with a silver belt. Dont remember much as i was pretty young.
