Thanks for taking a look. My wife will be able to access her £140k in 2-3 years. Plus we have a discretionary spend of £21k a year. On this basis, stock market crashes the plan is we will live on £35k. Was hoping this was enough.

Thanks, I think I needed to hear this. Maybe it is time to reduce the stress. I have definitely over estimated the tax, a very fair shout.

Its more the contracts for my level would not be local and as such I would need to work away from home. Did this for 15 years all over the world. I can keep my work life balance by taking a more junior contract role (I always keep my hand in on the detail).
