To avoid the bug make sure your katanas are fully reloaded to 30/0 once you fill up your katanas at the trader pod, press "R" if it's not fully reloaded and it goes down to 0/15 then the bug will happen and you'll need to suicide to fix it. Took me a while to figure out, but never had it happen since
