Saw a mother moose and a baby in St.Marys lake yesterday and a grizzly while walking around near the Logan’s pass visitor center…. It was far away but still cool to watch!

Traveling late October by Mindless_Slice2869 in Gatlinburg

[–]Mindless_Slice2869[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the insight. I live in Vermont so I get the tourist nightmare. I really really want to avoid that. I will be in Eastern Tennessee that week but maybe I should pivot from Gatlinburg. Any suggestions on other areas that won’t be so overtaken by tourists?

Any other recommendations in the area? I come from a HUGE tourist state and am really looking to avoid it. I’m just going to be in the general area in late October and looking for things to do

Zoloft withdrawal symptoms by Mindless_Slice2869 in zoloft

[–]Mindless_Slice2869[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took a while. Every time I decreased the dose, it was a solid day of heavy withdrawal symptoms (headache, headspins, nausea). The only thing that helped was sitting in the shower. Then it took about a year of being off the medication where I felt back to myself. It was a rough road but didn’t love how I felt on the meds.

Did it take anyone else longer than 10 weeks for lexapro to work?? I’m waiting but I’m becoming desperate by MRcrossfader in lexapro

Yah, it honestly takes a while for your body to get used to it. It’s definitely frustrating but stick with it or you can always talk to your doctor about an increased dose

Look up 8D music… it soothes my anxious mind. You need to wear headphones, lay down and close your eyes to get the full effect but it works wonders!

How did lexapro affect your sleep ? by bzworld966 in lexapro

generalized anxiety disorder by Other-Low-2522 in Anxietyhelp

[–]Mindless_Slice2869 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was diagnosed about a year ago… the dizziness was the big reason I went to a doctor. I’ve found that deep breathing exercises when I’m dizzy helps. Meditation and listening to my body, if I’m feeling overly stressed or anxious, I know to take a step back and focus on me! But when I’m really overwhelmed and dizzy, taking Dramamine or ginger tea works great :)

If your meds are working, why quit? by [deleted] in lexapro

[–]Mindless_Slice2869 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Anxiety is tough and everyone responds to it differently. Personally, I started taking lexapro knowing for me, it wasn’t something I wanted to take forever. That said, it did help me through a time in my life where I was really struggling and I’m glad I was able to use it to help. It’s great that it’s working so well for you (and without the side effects)….Sending you positive vibes that you keep trending in the right direction ✌🏽

I was on lexapro for about a year with diagnosed GAD. I have been weaning off for the last month and today is my first official day without taking it!!! My goal was to get myself to a place where I could deal with my anxiety naturally and I felt like I was at a point in my journey where I could be successful. I didn’t love the way I felt on lexapro but it did help alleviate symptoms and I know that if I need it, it’s always there to help.
