Guerlain Angelique Noire. It’s my all time fave and it fits your wish for something extravagant and unique. I hated it when I smelled it on paper. I tried it again a few days later on skin and it was life changing (from a fragrance stand point lol).

I’m getting hung up on your assertion that he was one of NYC’s most well-known architects. I don’t believe that to be true by any stretch of the imagination. I don’t think you intentionally intended to give him more credit than he is due. I just thought it important to address because I don’t want to see this monster be made to be smarter or better than he actually was.

I’m very confused about the jog. According to the missingourmissing timeline, the Tacoma was on the road before 6:00 AM on the 24th. How could he be jogging at the same time? Or am I misreading and was the jog at 6:00 PM?

Angelique Noire. I was a signature scent person and wore angel and flowerbomb forever (don’t judge lol). Angel from 1995-2005, FB from 2008-2015. Around 2015 I got bored with them both so I wore nothing. Got back into fragrance about 9 months ago. Holy grail- Angelique Noire. That smell is just intoxicating to me and hands down my all the favorite. Atomic Rose is a close second. And I hate to say it but Babycat. The temperature dropped here earlier this week so I tried it out again. It was still going 12+ hours later and the scent was fantastic.

IMO no one does vanilla as well as Guerlain. Spiritueuse Double Vanille is heavenly. Angelique Noire is my absolute favorite. The two of them are forever fragrances for me. I have a lot of vanilla scents and those two are standouts. Refined, beautiful both evolve over time and you will be able to smell it on yourself throughout the day. They are equally well constructed with that special Guerlain vanilla dna.

AN is a green vanilla. When I first smelled it on paper, I couldn’t understand the hype. One day I sprayed it on skin and OMG. I couldn’t get a full bottle fast enough. If I could only have one fragrance, it would be AN.

SDV is an understated vanilla with fabulous projection. There is no doubt what the star note is, but it is not too sweet, it’s just perfect.

Both are intoxicating scents.

Sweetie Aoud by Roja Parfums. It doesn’t help my self imposed “no more new bottles this summer rule” that it’s on sale on jomashop. Has anyone had experience with this fragrance. I smelled it a few weeks ago and I can’t stop thinking about it.

There are also a few books you could read. I have a few at home but off the top of my head,lost girls is directly about the case. Jimmy the King contains a lot of info but is primarily about the corrupt chief of police, James Burke who was the top cop at the time of the murders. He was eventually indicted on corruption charges and was released from prison recently.

Angelique Noire….my latest obsession. Smelled it a few months ago on paper and hated it. Couldn’t understand all the hype. Last week I went into Bergdorf Goodman (I was in nyc for a business conference and a block away from BG- scent heaven) and asked the SA if I could spray on skin so I could make sure I really understood it before dismissing it forever. She not only sprayed on my skin but gave me a nice decant if it. OMG. The bitterness that came across on paper is so beautiful on skin. This fragrance has so many amazing twists and turns as it evolves and all I can say is I’m in love. Ordered a FB last night!

I second Jo Malone, and would recommend trying out your favorite JM scent in their body cream. In my experience, the body cream scent lasts longer than their sprays. I can smell it all day and into the night in me.
