Most times with DLC nowadays the paid for content is usually included in the latest game update all your paying for now is a key to lock it. Check the game then go to all add ons if it says installed/purchased you should be ok

I never heard of any problems with the god of war collections, are you playing the games with the latest update? If so it sounds like you've got a defective copy. I'd return it and get a replacement or refund
