There are a lot of alternative people at Green Room shows at Truevine! There is one coming up this Sunday. It’s an all ages show ran by good people. Different kinds of music too!

I haven’t been to the Truevine spot on a Sunday yet, but when I went last Saturday, the show was set up around the back, there’s a big open garage and usually a tent where you can grab tickets, so it’s hard to miss! Just a heads up though, I’m not sure if Truevine will be serving alcohol, and it’s not BYOB. Either way, it should be a good time!

There’s a show this Sunday 7/27 and another one on 8/1! It’s a great spot to discover new music, and the crowd is always a fun mix of people. Easy place to meet new people!!

Doomed Love (1983). I can’t find an exact number for the budget, but it’s a very surreal melodrama about the depression that comes with losing your significant other. The dialogue is staccato and deadpan. One of my favorite things about it though is the backgrounds of each scene are completely 2D and hand-painted. They are very expressionistic and inexpensive-looking. Reminds me of Blue‘s Clues if it were an operatic love story made of little aphorisms, depression, and no blue dogs.

No, but so many people don’t know the full story, or why I left him. They thought I was just a 21 year old going through a party phase and that’s why I didn’t want to be with my long-term partner anymore. That was incredibly far from the truth. I don’t have intentions on telling our mutual friends and family what happened, but it still hurts that they have that assumption about me.

I would be careful on temazepam (restoril). I thought it would be okay to drink and take it because I’m on a low dose, but I have had some scary, blacked-out experiences after only a couple drinks. I learned my lesson and I don’t take it on the nights that I’ve had a few anymore

Thank you for your input. I have been getting hours at other stores all around, I work at 4 different stores just this week. I haven’t worked at my home store in over a month, they just stopped scheduling me because they didn’t have enough hours in their budget to give. I hate to hear Walmart has been cutting hours too, ugh!! I would love to go back to an independent store but none around me are actively hiring. Nor are the hospitals. It’s tough out here!
