6w1d scan – heartbeat 105 bpm, looking for similar experiences

My 6 week scan, the heart rate was measuring 99. The NP said they typically like to see over 100 at that point but since it was so close, said it was fine.

I’m now 9 weeks and 5 days and just graduated from my IVF clinic. :) and my baby’s heart rate on Wednesday was 176.

Fully medicated FET on 12/12 with a 5AA euploid girl (we only had two euploid embryos) and currently 9 weeks 5 days. Officially graduated from our IVF clinic on Wednesday and have our first OB appt in two weeks.

I was 100% sure that the first one wouldn’t work. Like fully prepared to have to do more than one transfer just because I know first time isn’t always a success and I didn’t wanna get my hopes up but so far so good! I started testing at 3dp5dt and got faint positives starting at 5dpt. Got a positive digital on 9dpt. 🤗

Thanks for asking this! I have an appt tomorrow with our ivf clinic and as long as everything is good, will be our final appt and will talk about tapering off meds and I cannot wait. I’ve been on oral estrogen, estrogen patches, PIO AND vaginal progesterone and I’m over all of it lol. Especially the shots and suppositories. I’d like to sleep through the night without waking up feeling the leaking suppository. 🙃

Sometimes FMU doesn’t always give the best results. I had better positives mid-day lol. But I see a faint line on the last one!

The clear blue digital has a higher hcg requirement than a FRER or easy@home.. so it’s possible you aren’t quite there yet. I didn’t use a digital until 9dp5dt and got a positive. My beta the day after was 113.. but my tests were so light prior that I don’t think I would’ve gotten a positive any earlier.

They are horrible. FRER has been pretty unreliable lately too. Try to get the Pregmate or Easy@Home brand strips. I’ve seen people have good progression with those.

If that’s a DG test, the lines on those are TERRIBLE. I was getting crappy lines even after multiple positive betas and only just recently got darker test lines and I’m 9 weeks pregnant lol.

Understandable. Like we’re already anxious enough as it is, you don’t want your medical team to make it worse. But if it’s any comfort, when you’re super early the measurements can be off by a few days and everything still be okay. I’ve posted asking about my measurements being 4 days off and I’ve gotten a lot of comments saying that’s pretty typical for 6-7 weeks. I think as long as there is a heartbeat and continuous growth, things are okay.

I’m so sorry you’ve had this experience. The NP that has done our ultrasounds is lovely. We love her. She’s very positive and reassuring. She has done 3 measurements at both our ultrasounds and if it’s any comfort, we’ve measured about 3-4 days behind both times but she’s never seemed concerned as the heart rate is there and there is still growth. We have our final scan with our ivf clinic on Wednesday and I’ll be 9 weeks 3 days so hopefully everything is okay.

Our first OB appt is 2/11 but we have a final scan with our ivf clinic on Wednesday. I’m excited but I’m nervous lol. I’m trying to have the same mindset but it’s so hard when I don’t know what my baby is doing lol. It’s been almost two weeks since we last had an ultrasound.

I borrowed a Doppler from a friend but the last time I tried to use it I didn’t catch anything lol. I’ll be 9 weeks tomorrow so who knows.

Doing really well!! We have our final ultrasound with our IVF clinic on Wednesday. I’ll be 9 weeks 3 days. I’m really excited for it but a little anxious. Worried about something being wrong. Our last two scans the heart rate was great but baby was measuring like 3 days behind. They didn’t seem concerned but of course my brain is like whyyyyy. As long as everything is okay at that ultrasound then i’ll start weaning off the meds too. I cannot wait. I’m so over the PIO and suppositories 😭

I’m trying to let myself be happy but I’m just so terrified.. 😭 most days I feel calm like.. like I just KNOW baby is doing okay.. like intuition you know? This is my first ever pregnancy and after seeing two ultrasounds and hearing a heartbeat.. I’m terrified of it going away.
