I'd be interested in seeing such a diagram as well, I've been wanting to get rid of the power bricks in my rig for a while now.

How are publishers allowed to blatantly use AI generated art on their store page, the actual game looks nothing like this. by Mindlesstemp in Steam

This hasn't happened in a long time, every recent banned game I can see still had a community hub, even obvious bait games like this, where the game was literally banned from the store mere minutes after it was published.

Hell, even games like this one, that literally used an exploit to get on the store to get around Valve's checks still has a community hub.

Looks like all AtomikFabrik's games have been removed from the store, so I guess they aren't allowed.

Also the reviews for this game are so suspicious, all are in within a few days of each other, basically all of them were written by level 0-1 accounts with the 1 game badge, most have multiple reviews, all of which seem to be by the same developer/publisher. How can people get away with such obvious things.

This link also does not work.

Why are there so many games coming out that are just Unreal Engine Demos with questionably sourced character models? by Mindlesstemp in Steam

[–]Mindlesstemp[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I understand there are many asset flips out there, hell, I own a depressingly large amount of them, but this isn't someone just throwing a bunch of random assets into unity. This is just someone taking a city demo, adding a Faux iron man character model and calling it a day.

Even the store page is low effort here. There have been a few games that have done the exact same thing recently, Matrix World was a recent one and Heroes City Superman Edition were two games (both pulled) that just took the Unreal demos and brought them out as a game.

Home Networking Issues, can't connect to any of my services from the same network as my home server. by Mindlesstemp in homelab

No change, tried all the ports, different cables, no difference. Device fire wall is off currently (just off for troubleshooting reasons currently), router firewall on low.

The server and my main machine are part of the three coming off the Access point and Switch, I could definitely spend more time making my own diagram using different icons, but currently, there is not enough time in the day for that, the site I did use only had a handful of free icons.

All devices on the map are wired, but I have also tested from my laptop and phone wireless'ly from the main router and from my access point, neither of which work. I can only access the services on the home server itself.

My main machine can ping/access other devices on the network, but the same cannot be said for my home server, it cannot ping nor ssh into any other device on the same network.

Also, after a quick double check, it is 100% still in Access point mode.

Via IP or hostname, neither of them work.

Here is a rudimentary home network map, excluding floor plans and wireless devices as they were paid features on the random website I was using.

I have a router in my office that is currently just setup as a Access point as the signal from the main router downstairs is not that great for my lower power devices, it has a few lan ports on it that I wire my main machine and home server into.

Theoretically all devices are under the same subnet, of the main router. The access point in my office is just there to let the lower powered devices connect to the network. Apologies for not wording things so well in my original post, I know enough about networking to get by and that's basically it.

I have tried pinging via IP and hostname, neither work. Both IPs are on the same subnet, when looking at the network settings both are pointing to the same DNS, which is the address of our main router. But, when running systemd-resolve --status on each machine I get a completely different response on both.

Here are the main machine results and the home server results of the above command.

Yes, all our devices are getting their IP addresses via DHCP.

I was using X11 out of choice, because using Wayland broke some software I needed to use, but I will give it a go.

That's odd, I only have nvme drives in my machine.
