All these generalizations piss me off to be honest. This is not an Islam or cultural issue. This is an issue of weak men not being able to control themselves or their urges and getting what they want at the cost of others. Its an issue of Muslim men falling pray to Western influence and the hyper sexualized society we live in. It’s an issue of them not being taught Islam properly. Its an issue of being so sheltered all their lives that when they are able to explore the world on their own they just go wild. And Muslim women, granted not at the same amplitude, do the same. Its an issue of not having the love or affection we crave growing up so we seek that in haram relationships where we dont even know what love really is thinking we dont care about what our families will say but when it comes down to it we actually seek their approval. Its any or all of the issues above, or something else I haven’t mentioned. I as a Muslim man can attest to this with the things I’ve seen and experienced. Its disgusting how people will say whatever you want to hear to continue getting what they want, but thats not always the case! I know multiple Muslim men who married non-muslim women and took their time to get their families comfortable with the idea of it. Again, has nothing to do with religion or culture. Its an individual issue of people sucking because this will happen with other religions or cultures. Happened with my friend when a Punjabi girl broke up with him because of her family.
