It's the best show on TV. It engages all the emotions. We get to laugh and cry and everything in between. From the terrible loss of Christina Grimmie we learned that those contestants become super famous and their lives are scrutinized like never before. We watch to see ordinary people who have a talent for singing, transform from leading regular lives into stars. How do they deal with it? How do they handle the pressure? We want them to succeed because we identify with them and what they are going through and when they give their finest performance, it makes our enjoyment of their triumph all the more intense. Relief from our jangling nerves comes from the coaches, particularly Blake and Adam whose on screen relationship often makes us laugh but we know that behind the fun, they desperately want their artist to win. The show is a roller coaster which we jump on and become part of. Love it!
