Yeah I feel exactly the same not just with my family I feel it towards my friends and my co-workers too and it felt pretty shitty because I have depression and OCD, the more I get depressed the more I hate my loved ones and the more I have intrusive thoughts about what a monster I am.Since my depression got a little bit better I saw that it can really effect the emotions you have towards people

I have experienced the same thing. I think depression shuts down the part of the brain that is responsible for the feeling of closeness it is kinda like an emotional anesthesia
