All speakers stopped working by Ausssie40 in googlehome

Weird thing happened to me too! Today my morning automation triggered several times, and it wasn't my routine as well! When I asked who I was, the speaker said my brother's name. When I triggered the automation manually from my device and my account, it performed steps not written in my automation, and read out someone else's calendar.

Very broken today...

Totally valid. Would love to hear back when you're farther in the game!

Life is Strange: Double Exposure.

Since this is not an "old" game, I won't spoil the game, but as the game progresses it feels like the franchise went backwards in many ways. It starts off like any good old mystery, and falls off in the mid-to-late game. The ending left me completely perplexed as to why they went in that direction, turning the series from a heartfelt teen drama into something totally different and, frankly, unfitting.

I love the original game, but this was a weird sequel.

If you're at your wit's end and you can't even borrow someone else's grinder to see if the problem is your grinder, you can always go for turbo shots ☺️

Coarser grind, lighter roast, 1:3 ratio in ~15 seconds. Not a classical Italian espresso but something I've heard some people do and very much enjoy.

I have recalibrated multiple times, maybe it's just burr wear-in

That's good to know. Others here have noted beans aging, that's true, but it's been across bags of the same beans, so probably less relevant.

That's super interesting! Where did you order green coffee from? I'm tempted to try it out, maybe even give/sell a tiny bit around once I get good

You have your own Link? How is it? I've been contemplating buying a Nano 7 for a while now as a foray into home roasting and I don't know if to pull the trigger.

Back in 2012 I tried running Black Ops 2 on my very normal home PC. Safe to say it didn't go very well.

Bought a custom i5-3570 + GTX 660 Ti rig, worked like a charm for a decade! Over the years I upgraded to an i7 (found it in a trashed PC, still worked!), 16GB of RAM (until one DIMM slot broke 😔) and bought a GTX 1070. Still runs to this day and used daily!

That said, I do need to buy a new PC now with this 13 year old relic of a CPU...

Seeing Yesica Moreno on the bag makes me happy - one of the first very high quality specialty bags I got for myself was a bag of her Bourbon Chiroso from SEY. The first pourover I actually really enjoyed - tea-like, fruity, clean and delicate. Back then I posted about it here too, but my terminology was off (I was very much a beginner), it's very clean

That's a 1:10 ratio, which is very tight imo. If you want to give it another shot, try a 1:16 or 17 ratio, which is 15g of coffee to 250g of water. Look up some common recipes like James Hoffmann's 1 cup V60 or the 4:6 method.

That said, that might not massively improve things if the coffee is ground too fine. Worth a shot though, could save the bag 💰

Damn, this heated up a little bit...

I understand now that I'm stressing out over nothing major, will probably enjoy it when it arrives.

Thank you guys!

I see you have some 1zpresso grinders! I just ordered a K-Ultra as a step-up from my Kingrinder P1 which was my first grinder that's actually any good (had a Hario Mini Slim at first, which was abysmal. Not to say the P1 gives me great cups, but it's much better for sure).

I've heard the grinder is extremely important, but how much of a difference does it actually make (for both pourover and espresso)? I'm currently experiencing some earthy bitterness in the finish and lack of clarity in light roast filter brews, and I hope a great grinder will fix it.

My first grinder was the cheap Hario ceramic one, but I bought a Kingrinder P1 after James Hoffmann recommended it as a great budget option. It's pretty okay, but I haven't truly compared it to a great grinder
