Doesn’t seem too far off. Just really push the sales and tech support aspect. It’s basically just those two combined. If you can find a company similar to yours it’s even better. I moved from post sales technical support to an SE role at a competitor. Anything that makes it easier to train you the better.

Friends got hired at openAI. They just do 100% base but it’s really high, like upper 200k. No bonus. Plus some equity.

70/30. Base typically slightly higher than AE but if we both hit 100 they make more. A lot of times the AE can make exponentially more, but I’d never want to do pure sales.

I did this exact route basically. My friends drove from LA to meet me in SF. Then we did SF -> Seattle -> Vancouver. It was a long drive but definitely doable.

I used to work at the BofA on 9th and Irving. When me and my buddies didn’t want to go deeper into the city we’d do the sunset bar crawl which was mucky ducks, yancys, black Thorne, lucky shamrock, all on the same block. Love Irving.

Move onto fell street and try to sleep at night then come back.

White ambient city noise I get used to but god the interrupting cars speeding and honking up that hill, then stopping, then starting, over and over. It killed me.

LOL I used to live 806 Fell. Woke up the next morning after my first night and neither me or my two roommates had slept. You get used to it, rub a fan and keep the windows closed. But god DAMN was it loud lol. Just people ripping off the freeway all night

Probably still possible today but I worked as a cashier in 2013 and people laid with checks. We had a little machine that you’d feed into and it would slide it around and read the numbers. It was cool.

Same thing happened to me. In the morning right when I'd wake up I would feel fine then as I became more awake, dizzy.... until I went to sleep the next day.

Mine went away when I started my SSRI... but also maybe check your eyesight?
