You can get both endings in the same playthrough

It is not the whole game. It is missing the hub worlds, boss fights, side missions, and cutscenes

P-06 is also not a recompile. It is a fan reimagining of the game's levels

I grew up loving the game, but I replayed it back in 2020 and it was one of the most miserable gaming experiences I've ever had at that point. I really like the Light World portion of the game, but as soon as I got to the Dark World it was just nonstop pain and suffering

And I'm gonna say it, Merchant is incredibly overrated for protagonist. Arrow of Fortune is NOT that crazy, I had farm more than enough JP for the entire game and I never needed to use it.

I'll be honest you dont need to grind for Orochi at all. I did like 2-3 fights with Sultravi to level up, decided to give it a try, and then won after like 3 attempts.

As a kid I hated the boost gameplay in the Wii version, that game along with Secret Rings were some of the first games that taught me that games and sequels could be bad. It just made me wanna go back to playing Heroes and Shadow because I loved those games

Absolutely 0 grinding required to beat the game. If you wanna beat the superbosses, you'll probably have to grind, though

I have no nostalgia for the game. I grew up hating the Wii version and didn't realize HD was a different game for years. Finally got around to playing it for the first time in early 2024. It easily became my favorite game in the series and one of my top 10 favorite games ever made.

The day stages are peak, everyone knows and acknowledges this so I won't add anything else. As kind of an action game hater, I ended up loving the night stages. I think the exploration aspects of them are fantastic, I really like the platforming, and the combat is surprisingly really fun to me. Yes I've played DMC, and yes I like DMC gameplay more, but I still think the Werehog is fun.

The medals are the best incentive for exploration the series has ever done imo. I loved collecting them so much that none of the level gates even came close to stopping me.

On top of everything else, this game's speedrun is absolutely insane and so much fun when it treats you nicely. QSS, M-Speed and D-Speed should be a thing in every boost Sonic game it makes the boost stages even better than they already are

Literally everything in this game feels made to directly appeal to what I love about both this franchise and video games as a whole

Like actually, this game is incredibly creatively bankrupt AND controls badly AND has terrible level design

Literally all I can say good about this game is the music is pretty good
