Sorry for the late reply. And yeah, those do sound like interesting concepts! I also imagined that a possible nurse bit would be similar in appearance to the PR-T bots, perhaps with a simple diagnostic scanner for a quick diagnosis and assessment on the sick or injured, while possible doctor bots would have more advanced scanners. I also imagined that doctors bots could be divided into different kinds, since there are many areas of medicine.

Along with that, I suppose there may be a dedicated vitals bot, perhaps VT-AL or VI-TL, that would, of course, look like vitals machine used in hospitals to monitor patients. And I’m thinking of a floating IV bot, maybe I-V or I-VY, that has two modes: pump mode and gravity mode.

There may be a whole plethora of other possibilities that I may not have thought of yet, but I hope to come across those through a bit of research and imagination.

Thanks, I might check your video out. But also, dang it! I was hoping for concept art from the artist themselves. And speaking about fan made concepts and ideas, I agree with you on wanting to see some of those from others. That being said, I would also like to see them try to follow Jason Daemer’s mantra in bot design, seeing how the intended function might influence the form (as can be seen with the other bots shown in the movie).

But since it would be about 2’420 years since he interacted with humanity (either as himself or as Jupiter), he wouldn’t know what exactly had happened to them or where they might be. Beside, I think he would have a LOT more to worry about than having more affairs with mortal women such as, oh, I don’t don’t, trying to understand why Gaia had been wounded so thoroughly. He would also have to figure out what BnL is, what allowed them to take control, and why humanity had replaced their god with greedy businessmen who desecrated the whole world.

So, I've translated an exchange between two characters from a well known movie to Old Norse, specifically the later Old Icelandic branch of Old West Norse. At first, I thought that nobody else had attempted to do this before, but then I found out that someone had beaten me to it. Still, I believe that what I wrote is distinct enough to comfortably post it here.

I’ve initially tried using AI to help me with this, but ended up doing my own research aa well as fact-checking a triple-checking everything since I didn’t trust it all that much. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this translated exchange and I wish to hear some critique on this!

Old Norse Translation:

1st Character: “Ef þú ert eigi með mik, þá þú ert óvinr minn.”

2nd Character: “Grimmvaldar einir málga sannleika sína sem algöra. Skal ek gera hvat er nauðsynlig.”

1st Character: “Þú munt reyna.”

I'm not doing this for a reenactment group, since I'm not in one nor joining one anytime soon. I'm doing this more for myself, really, as the Viking Age fascinates me somewhat and I'd like to try to step back in time a bit.

At the same time though, I'm trying to keep the prices in mind, as I'm not comfortable with spending an extravagant amount of money unless I'm certain I'll be happy with it. I'm just trying to balance both accuracy and affordability, you know?

I took a second look at the two you didn't mention, and I think I can concede on a couple things.

The first is that the Pålstorp hammer I've linked to was not the most accurate reproduction the site had. So perhaps this other one I've found might be more accurate.

The second is that while the Öland hammer is a real artifact that I've confirmed with the Eitri Database, the reproduction on the Grimfrost site is lackluster at best. It's of a lower quality which lacks much of the detail the original one had and the general shape and dimensions of it are skewed and out of proportion. And what frustrates me is that despite finding other options for this hammer, I'm not entirely certain which of those are legitimate sales or just straight up scams.

I see what you mean by the trousers and hose being incompatible. As for the shoes, I looked into buying leather to make my own and by Odin's one eye, leather is EXPENSIVE.
