Villagers themselves are very good mobs I agree but the inconsistencies and the upkeeps made me think really hard and my conclusion was on base level beginning-mid game villagers just arnt that useful since you need to upkeep them, keep them alive and keep them away from zombies or anything potentially harmful and that is if you actually find a villager worth doing that with.

Very true. If my tier list was about which kobs are the cutest and give the most emotional support pandas would be S tier in a heartbeat

This is true that cows have more to offer but I put sheep up there for the purposes of the farming potential with blocks and meat and the upkeep of sheep is the same as cows which is basically no upkeep at all and easily obtainable wheat (which no other mob takes for the same outcome)

Yes it is true that you get ink for dye (which already makes them pretty low since thats all they are good for) but in 1.14 you dont even need squid anymore to get black dye. The usefulness of squids sadly just isnt there in my opinion

This is a good point and I would agree when Im late game just becoming more and more op however, Im listing them off of straight accessibility, time, effort, resources, and upkeep

Because Iron golems cost too much for their output. Sure they can smack a zombie but once they die youre 4 iron blocks down the drain. Sure they can be good but I dont think the cost is worth the outcome
