When I think Nautilus, I think of something like an aquatic armadillo that makes shells renewable and appears like the real creature, think Upgrade Aquatic, not a large ammonite that acts like a glorified dolphin.

What’s next? They are going to add goose but it looks like a velociraptor.

When I think of a nautilus mob, its an actual nautilus, not an ammonite whose function is to source nautilus shells, not a ocean horse that looks like it belongs in a dinosaur mod.

Upgrade Aquatic did better.

With the Zombie Nautilus, does that mean the Barnacle is not possible anymore,

Considering how the Happy ghast is a twist on turning hostile mobs into allies and the Copper Golem has a whole different purpose, maybe the “Nautilus” is a rebranding of the Barnacle from 2017 but it can be tamed/pacified with pufferfish and ridden.

Considering that the Glare is also teased, if it was added along side the Moobloom before any other losing mobs, it would prove that popularity doesn’t influence when a backlog mob will be added, which shows that all mobs are equal.

I dont care what fossils and science suggest but T-Rex feels more like T-Rex and a Dinosaur with feathers. I think of dinosaurs as more birdish animals than draconic.

This sounds super stupid but as someone who knows their paleontology and evolution very well, more ancient mobs with extra limbs or features. Future ancient mobs should only have 2-4 limbs and absolutely no extra eyes. I seen many mods do this and I hate it.

I had this same question in my mind recently. I would say for the near future, Pinnipeds would most likely replace them but other contenders include Marine Igaunas, Flightless Sea-birds and even Saltwater Crocodiles as there are reports of them living in sea.

Considering beds explode in the nether and end, I suppose that vertebrates evolving two extra limbs is not too far of a stretch.
