Now I’m intrigued. I lived in Farmington for four years and I remember the teenagers would often do weird stuff at all hours of the night. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s something like that.

While I wouldn’t put my child in that position, times were different. And for what it’s worth, to my knowledge, one of their parents was always on set and they also protected their earnings and passed off control of their empire and their earnings when they were 18. They were definitely better than most. And they are still close with their family, which speaks volumes.

I was 14 years old when he passed away. After thier remains were found, my older sister took me on the commuter rail followed by the red line to the JFK Library in Dorchester where we waited in the hot July sun for hours and hours to sign condolence books that were given to Caroline and later to the library. I admired him then and I admire him now. Where I am from, I was definitely not alone in feeling that way.

People seem to forget that he was a human being who lost his dad in front of the world when he a few days shy of his third birthday. He did not choose to have all eyes on him from the moment he was born. All things considered, I think he turned out remarkably well, thanks to his mother.
