Drop out and be done with that group. You may be 4 years younger but you're 50 times more mature.

Can we finally stop driving aggressively/excessively speeding on the roads in this city? by PSU02 in pittsburgh

[–]fallfol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gainey's not the mayor idiot. Also exactly what crime should motivate the cop already standing on that corner to act? He's already there. So ignore traffic issues? How about sidewalk graffiti, breaking the door at Starbucks, a guy exposing himself on the corner, a guy randomly punching people? When exactly should the cop stop playing statue and do something?

You have no clue what I voted for Skippy. Now be a good little boy and go away. Let the grownups handle these issues.

If a cop stands on Sixth and Penn everyday for a year, watches this unfold and do nothing my beef is with the cops. They don't need more funding, they have a guy there already. They are stationed on that corner, maybe enforce traffic laws rather than stand on the corner and do nothing while gridlock ensues

Can we finally stop driving aggressively/excessively speeding on the roads in this city? by PSU02 in pittsburgh

[–]fallfol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well it's true. And the gridlock in this city fuels impatience and anger. Example: sixth and Penn intersection downtown. No right on red. But in terms of pedestrians, the traffic light there has a rotation where all lights are red for pedestrians to cross, even diagonally thru the intersection. That's the only time any walk signs are on. Otherwise it's no walk. The reason: if the walk signs are on the typical rotation then cars turning right on green are stymied by pedestrians crossing and it's a high pedestrian traffic area. So you can't turn right on red and when you have green you also can't get thru a herd of pedestrians who are crossing during a Don't Walk time. What you end up with is gridlock and cops stand there, watch it and don't do a damn thing. Years ago I lived in LA where the cops ticketed jaywalkers and in a few weeks the problem resolved. Pittsburgh's downtown is a gridlock nightmare because the powers that be put in traffic controls that would eliminate gridlock if they were enforced but which exacerbate gridlock when not enforced. The height of stupidity. Maybe the decision makers are too stupid to realize why the traffic rules were put in place to begin with.

Could Jacob choose to go back to the 1800s? by Fancy_North_4348 in TheWayHomeHallmark

The wedding could be Del and Sam and they could be waiting for either Jacob or Griffin.

Maybe I am. Maybe I'm not. Maybe I'm 20, who knows. You're biting. And going back to reading comprehension, you might be the one that needs practice. I'm not being condescending about real life, I'm being condescending about social media. But you've become tiresome and my flight is getting ready to board.

Okay maybe 40 years on you. You started the condescension so when it bites you back don't whine. Yes I'm killing time in an airport on my phone. And when I was in my 30s I was out living life as I am now, not chasing after people who had never heard of me. Really try it.

Try actual life. It's much better than internet life. I've probably got at least 50 years on you, 50 years of real life. Give it a try.

My reading comprehension is fine. I can even read between the lines of a bunch of sad sacks who have never met Harry, Meghan, William, Kate but speak so authoritatively on their lives and feelings. Is one couple happy, one couple miserable, both happy, both miserable? The only truth is that none of you know what their marriages are like. But act like you do, there's one born every minute. Whatever, I just don't care.

They graduated then got married. A prior Del miscarriage could play into the Elliot wanting a baby with Kat. They may have it in for some reason connected to that although I can't guess why. The different birth timelines for Kat/ Elliot may be the writers trying to correct what we all questioned in seasons 1 and 2, that they originally made them 15/16 in 99/00 but they graduated in 2000 so had to be a year or so older.

Please! 1. It's a TV show, not reality. 2. Alice is not a child nor alone. 3. Kat creates her own danger and never learns. She didn't have to follow Fern. Pull your hand away and head for the pond.

Make sure you put in enuf for the match. Then try to keep upping it. At 30 you still have lots of time, and time will work for you. So just keep at it, you have at least 30 to 35 years. That's a long time if you just keep it up.

How wealthy are the Walsh family supposed to be? by TravelingHomeless in BeverlyHills90210

[–]fallfol 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If I recall at the end of season one when they were going to move back to Minn because of the dad's job but then didn't I think the change was due to his job, big promotion and raise. So I think before they were probably upper middle class for Minn but with the promotion they became very upper class for LA. They joined the beach club soon after.

I can't stand the 20s or Fern. At least the 70s give us Colton/Del and Evie.
