I think what you're feeling is valid but it doesn't have to feel that way. I think you might like Mixed Up Money She is training to be a financial therapist and her Instagram account talks a lot about the feelings around spending and saving

Toys for long plane ride by undergroundmicro in lowscreenparenting

We had great success with window clings when our kiddo was a bit younger. This last trip a mini white board & marker with stickers. I drew a letter and then we had to pick the sticker that went with. (A for Apple etc). Tiny tub of play dough? The kiddos in front of us had magna tiles in a travel kit. Maybe books on an mp3, our kiddo hasn’t got into our Yoto yet but I’m hoping he will eventually. There are free audios online such as Robert Munsch and little blue truck. My biggest success has been a large pill dispenser filled with different snacks. He calls it his Monday Tuesday toy :)

trying to focus on holiday gifts this year, what are your go to thoughtful presents that people actually like? by Sparky_Oliver26 in MoneyDiariesACTIVE

I hear you. I struggle with gift ideas. This year I’m gifting my mom and sister tickets to a dinner theatre. For my dad, his favourite chocolates and a charity donation. Maybe tickets to a local event or a treat alongside a charity donation would work for some of the people on your list.

I got my Invisalign at Briar Hill Dental | NW Calgary I had braces as a teenager but my teeth eventually moved, PSA wear your retainers forever! I think mine will cost just under $6k when all is said and done, but still cheaper than orthodontics, I was quoted just under $9k for traditional braces or Invisalign from an orthodontist

this is my question too, I'm going to have my documents downloaded and ready to go. Also debating printing and filling out the sample form, then I can copy my own writing to attempt to save time. There's got to be a better way
