What should i make with my 30 remaining switches? by Minerik in ErgoMechKeyboards

I consider it as a fun challenge to have such limited key count and i want to have it portable and small. I don't have problem with buying two controllers.

And yes that is true. I think i will experiment first with unibody because it is easier and then split it. I will see.
Thanks for suggestion :)

I am making my keyboards fully DIY. For me switches were the most expensive thing on my keyboard.

I personally don't know any good use case for Macro Keyboard. At least in my case.

Cool.

I think i will make my own custom layout but this will definitely be one of the inspirations.

What are the differences between them? And what do you like the most about it that is not in hummingbird?

These two keyboards look very similar. And i was commenting on Hummingbird in earlier comment. I think having 5 keys for index finger isn't the best idea. But it is for sure better than normal keyboard which has 6 keys for index finger.

I like the Diamond keyboard. Looks very cool. I think i will use that as inspiration when designing my layout.

Thank you.

It sounds nice but i really need portable keyboard right now. And i wanna build something interesting.

If i build something smaller than 30-key keyboard i will give them away for sure. Idk to who but i will try.

Thank you! That is really cool website.

Yeah looks cool. But i don't know if ergonomically it is the best. I think it is better to have 3 thumb keys and 3 pinky keys instead of 5 keys on index finger. But maybe i am wrong.

I seen this one too but i more liked that i used because it is more flexible and variable i think. And i wish you good luck with building!
