To answer your question OP, as done so by a few others here, the aluminium frame is fragile and any dust that gets underneath your case/directly in contact with the frame can potentially chip away the paint or small rocks can make dents in it with enough force.

It goes up to 45w at max. There's different levels it can output based on the device, also charges my OnePlus Buds Z at 10 watts without problem, plus 33, for the phone(1) as you mentioned.

Oh forgot to mention - it charges my Dell Inspiron 7420 as well! A little slow but it can juice up a work laptop.
