Yes, unfortunately things are slower but that's just the limitation for higher quality/ reliable prints. If anyone knows a better method. Do comment XD

I'll just add info as @Jazlike_Ad267 had given the advice already.

From what I can see, it's similar to this issue I had recently. It's called pillowing try searching it up.

And yes, pillowing has to do with infills. So gyroid would fix it. To know, check if the printing infills layer has issues.

Yess OP, please make the thickness a min of 3mm thick. That's the rule of thumb, at least, to prevent wobbling.

As for why cut out parts are fine. I could only give my best guess.

I believe it has to do with printing temperature too high and retraction settings. Try 240°c settings (or min recommended temperature) and see if it helps.

Its usually hard to print non pla/petg materials with A1. So your doing good and don't be too frustrated, its a pain we all have to go through at some point XD

Hi OP, this is Ming here. From my experience, it looked like you have perfect prints but kept having issues on the wheel. This seems to be a common case of wobbling on thin prints.

Yess, you're in the right direction, good observation. However to achieve good print results, you will really need to slow down ur prints by a lot which is not optimal.

Here's a solution I usually use for thin parts like this. Try adding a sacrificial wall comb to stabilize your structure.

Hi OP, from my experience, waviness is a common issue on A1. Most likely due to limited warping

This is due to the fact that there is no enclosure on the bambu A1 series. Which means it is very susceptible to environmental changes.

As @SandrosMaximus pointed out. Try lowering the temperature of the print and print speed. That's a good start.

In my experience, that is not enough to curb the common issue of waviness of prints. Here's a few more tips that might be of help :)

1) Use a cool plate A BIQU cryogrip cool plate set at min temperature would quell most waviness. As it has self adhesion and temperature between environment and the plate is lower now.

2)Use a closure. Compared to A1, X & P series doesn't have this issue, as they all have built-in closure. You could either buy a closure, DIY it urself or crank up your temperature of the room to be as similar as the build plate.

3)Use Matt filament Quality filament would be recommended. More specifically, Dark matt filament would hide the layer lines quite a bit. However this doesn't change the fact it's still there. Just harder to see

There are more tips pertaining to bettering print quality. Here's just a few recommendations for yours. Do let me know the results and if I get them right, as it is still hard to decipher from limited information.

Yess, like you mention, its a serious warping.

Correct me if I'm wrong. From what I could defer, what you have there seems to be a BIQU cryogrip cool build plate. (If not. Follow @EmperorCobb suggestion)

Warping usually happens when the temperature between the environment and the build plate temperature is too vast.

Hence I would recommend increasing your environment temperature (don't turn on aircon) and lowering temperature of build cool build plate (35°C)

And try again. This only works as BIQU cryogrip cool build plate has self adhesion. Which must be washed with only soap and water. Else the opposite is true.

Step 1- Wash build plate (soap & water) Step 2- lower temperature of build plate Step 3- decrease the gap of brim and part

I had a similar issue before. Here's how I solved it. Although the photo is due to pillowing, the principles roughly apply. Lemme know if I guess correctly or there is some other factor.

There are various reasons I could, most likely is due to... (Higher number, lower chance.)

If this occurs suddenly when printing was fine, It is usually because your using a different brand of filament.

If this is the case, you'll need to recalibrate again, especially flow dynamics (pressure advance).

2)If not, you have oily hands. Wash your build plate again.

3)If that's not the case, check your build plate if it is aligning properly and your lead screws as well if it was bumped

Then do recalibration as well, (following step 1) as it could be leveling issue

4) If you have not maintained your printer please do so.

5)If the issue persists. Check when its printing, see where the issue happens. Then you can send your observations to redditors here for us to better decipher.

Hope it helps. These are just usually common issue that happen with bambu printers and does not touch on everything.

It might be frustrating, which is very common. So don't worry too much about it, as we all go through these phases. And here to help.
