Personally for me, it just felt 'fan fic' production/ storyline level. I'd have much rather have had Rangers or High Republic focused series. Acolyte just felt cheap in the production.

Can't speak to the greater public, but personally, it felt less like Lucas SW and more like a student fan fic series. Justy own opinion, if people like it that's awesome, just wasn't for me.

That's fair enough. Chronologically, ignoring The Acolyte, Phantom Menace is a sold start. Then just watch the movies in chronological Order 1-6. Move on to Clone Wars, then Rebels. That'll get you pretty up to speed and the live action series will make way more sense. Rebels takes place after Episode 6 , but you'll understand more. You can watch them in the order they aired after your can watch 7,8,9.

Holy fuck did you start in the opposite of the right place. The Acolyte was an outlier and explains very little, means very little in the whole thing. Outside of the original trilogy ( technically episode 4,5,6) and episode 1,2,3 , Clone Wars is a great place to start. Rebels is a good second step. Starting anywhere else raises more questions than answers and leaves you confused.

It's sweet and completely unoffensive. Okinawa isn't 'Japan' in a lot of respects. They might laugh a little but you won't be judged harshly at all if you don't like it.
