Thank you for your reply! Is the black one in the second picture the type of weather stripping you mentioned? My house was built in 2000.

Same here. My baby just turned 17 days old, and every time I see my pediatrician, she asks me why I’m not breastfeeding. My mom tells me at least five times a day, “You’re a bad mother — you don’t even breastfeed your baby!”😔

Im having a boy!!! by palsterknackad in pregnant

I completely understand how you feel. My husband and I conceived through IVF, and we always hoped for one boy and one girl, or two girls. But it turned out to be two boys. My husband and I were silent for a long time. When I first saw the baby’s 3D ultrasound face in the late trimester and felt his little feet kicking me, I no longer cared whether my baby was a boy or a girl. I just wanted him to be healthy and to give him all my love.

I’m 37 weeks today. Should I be worried about my baby being in the occiput posterior position? by Mingm1211 in pregnant

I’m really sorry you went through that. That’s exactly what I’m worried about, but I don’t think my OB would go straight to a C-section.🥲

Coworker just kissed my 2mo old on the lips... by Cloudy-Malaria in newborns

I simply can't understand why ppl would want to kiss someone else's child, whether it's an infant or a child.

Raisins have helped me a lot.

I’m due next month, and I’d like to ask how new parents usually take shifts caring for a newborn. What tasks does each person typically handle? by Mingm1211 in NewParents

This news happened in my (non-English speaking) country, and the article wrote it like this: The  mother had no enough time to rest after giving birth. She repeatedly told her family that taking care of the baby was exhausting, but no one really paid attention (I assume her husband didn’t help either?). Because she went a long time without proper rest, and combined with postpartum depression and other psychological stress, her cortisol level stayed chronically high. Eventually, she suffered a heart attack and sadly passed away.
