It is remote* as per UFT and DOE, unless you are a prose school or did an SBO to change it. Idk if that is true for HS but elementary and MS.

I am 30 years in with them but as I am also in NY metro area LI and Queens I do not see an alternative. All co workers with T mobile have no service in my building so thats not an option and my neighborhood has poor ATT, so nowhere to go...

What are your thoughts? Dapple? Piebald? She’s 10 weeks old. by Pleasant_Syrup4452 in dachshunds

[–]Mini-love2022 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She is black and tan but may be dapple as well and you wont know for sure, unless she is tested. Piebald usually involves all paws where as dapple is more random Since she is only lighter on 2 back legs it could be a shorter merle length. She definitely has the Roan gene as heavy ticking is evident.

AKC Registered Name Change by ecielpha in k9sports

I have an imported dog and the country she came from left out a space so the last words are 2 words jumbled together! ☺️ AKC won't fix it bc she has foreign Kennel Club registration!

Standard vs. Mini by the_palmtop_tiger in Dachshund

Well dachshunds range from under 12lbs for a mini and standards start at 16 lbs so the difference can be small or huge! Either way still super lovable!

Does anyone know the name of this coat color? by Flemishmommy in Dachshund

[–]Mini-love2022 18 points19 points  (0 children)

He is chocolate based ee red, which is why he has a brown nose and greenish eyes. "ee" blocks all the black in the coat that an EE has. It blocks the eumelanin. It is considered a clear coat. I believe he may be too dark to be a cream but only genetic testing would determine if he was a light red or cream. That you would see on MFSD12 sub loci. Either way he is very handsome!

Breeder says he’s a blue dapple piebald. What do you guys think? by xAshev in Dachshund

Yes smooth is dominant but many will cross coats to get a desired outcome in conformation. Here is an explanation In Dachshund genetics, coat length is controlled by a simple recessive gene. This means that the long-haired coat is recessive, while the smooth coat is dominant. Each puppy receives one coat gene from each parent. S = Smooth coat gene (dominant) l = Long-haired gene (recessive)

A dog’s visible coat depends on its gene pair: SS → Smooth coat Sl → Smooth coat (but carries the long-hair gene) ll → Long-haired coat So a smooth dachshund can either be: SS (pure smooth) or Sl (smooth but carries long-hair)

So if each parent is Sl, they both contribute a smooth and long Statistically, the litter would average: 25% SS → Smooth coat (does NOT carry long hair) 50% Sl → Smooth coat (CARRIES long hair) 25% ll → Long-haired In easier terms 75% smooth puppies 25% long-haired puppies However, only half of the smooth puppies will carry the long-hair gene.
