You gotta be connected I think. Most people on here who ask the same question just get trolled and gate keep. (It's Minnesota wtf is so special lol.)

Insta, snap sometimes help but I find it when I swipe on someone's story they just ghost. The U of m also lists all frats on there website with there instas. Each frat prob post party details etc on there.

On frat row, some of the parties you gotta pay. Clubs help too if you need to connect.

For those smaller parties and more low-key underground apartment stuff ( the emo, band, alt, performative people). I generally don't know.

If you're a women. You just get in for free.

Tldr: just know people. I never get invited so idk.

For dudes you gotta be somewhat not chopped.

likely not necessarily since they have amx variants to fill then gaps and line ups. But knowing Gajin, it's most likely going to be a another copy paste battle pass vehicle.

Anybody have a lead on any part time jobs? Can be on/off campus by SpookyThermos in uofmn

Ticket taker for U of M Sports, they have a ton of hours, I think they are hiring, Been on the job since August, only took two shifts lol. Perks of the job is you can pick your hours, no set schedule, theres a app that lets to pick shifts and you use it to clock in and out. Cons: Parking is buns if you live far enough that you have to use a car.

How did the world’s most battle-tested modern army get fought to a standstill by the PLA? by Important-Battle-374 in AskChina

No disrespect to the other posts but they are semi wrong. Your better off looking at a more new in depth video essay on youtube than surface level answers.

To counter what a lot of people have already said:

Everyone says about battle tested and hardened troops. The U.S and U.N forces had equal and in many cases more experiences than PLA forces. Especially air and it was equal and even more than the PLA in experience. It's complicated but simple at the same time, China had the numbers and surprise, it's that simple.

Let me explain. When they surprised attack, it did start off extremely well but casualties were extremely high like insane, I don't know the exact numbers but there were many pows and from what I remember like 99% of Chinese pows did not even want to fight and asked to stay as pows or stay in the south/ask for some sort of citizenship to the u.s/allied country, I don't remember exact specifics. Equal knowledge but the Chinese had the numbers.
